As well as taking part in productions at Fallibroome, there are a number of students who are part of theatre groups outside of school. Some of these performers were nominees and winners at the Association of Community Theatre (ACT) Spotlight Awards ceremony which took place on 19th November.

Nominations and awards included:

  • Sam Ashall: Winner of the ‘Most Accomplished Actor – Musical Youth’ award for his performance in the role of Rusty in TEMPO’s production of ‘Starlight Express’.
  • Alex Hine: Winner of the ‘Most Creative Comic Portrayal – Musical Youth’ award for his performance in the role of Dame Trot in  the Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association’s production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
  • Sarah Walton-Smith: Nominated in the ‘Most Creative Comic Portrayal – Musical Youth’ category for her performance in the role of Hen in Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association’s production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
  • Saffron Milner: Nominated in the ‘Most Original Character Actress – Musical Youth’ category for her performance in the role of the Princess in the Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association’s production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
  • Dulcie Whadcock: Nominated in the ‘Most Accomplished Actress – Musical Youth’ category for her performance in the role of Jack  in the Prestbury Youth Pantomime Association’s production of ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’.
