After a hard week of tough competition against seven nations competing on borrowed ponies they had never met before, Lucy Burrows (Year 11) and her team beat the favourites USA and brought home the u17 World Champion trophy.

Mounted games is a very physically demanding sport requiring excellent hand to eye coordination, stamina and the ability to be a good team player.

Lucy had a fantastic time meeting children from all over the world. To see her holding the England flag with the national anthem playing was very emotional for her proud parents and made all the hours of hard training worthwhile!
