Tuesday 12th June 2018 to Wednesday 13th June 2018 at 5.30pm
A story about a boy who never grew up. The three children of the Darling family receive a visit from Peter Pan, who takes them to Neverland, where an ongoing war between Peter’s gang of rag-tag runaways and the evil Pirate Captain Hook is taking place. Fallibroome are delighted to present J. M . Barrie’s much loved classic.
This is a promenade production, which will be unlike anything you have seen before at Fallibroome. There are 500 children collaborating on a huge scale with many of our FLC partner primary schools. Rehearsals are going extremely well, and each performance is set to sell to full capacity, therefore, we are limiting tickets to 2 per family (children under 5 years get free entry).
This is not a seated performance, therefore you must be prepared to move around the performance space, journeying through the Performance Hall and into the woodland area that surrounds the Fallibroome playing fields. The audience entrance is situated at the side of the Performing Arts building, adjacent to the leisure centre overflow car park (recommended parking location). This production is wheelchair accessible, however, please be mindful that there will be some slopes and uneven terrain along the route.
Before and after attending this promenade production of Peter Pan, you will be able to enjoy the delights of our market place (situated at the Leisure Centre pavilion on the running track). There will be an opportunity to purchase food from the BBQ, ice creams and refreshments on sale, there’s even a bar! Enjoy the entertainment and a range of arts and crafts activities for children and adults. Bring some cash so you don’t miss out!
We will be allocating timed tickets. Each group of audience members must not exceed 40 people maximum, therefore, should you wish to attend, please make sure that you are available between 5:30pm and 7:30pm, as we cannot guarantee a specific time slot. Once all audience members have completed the promenade production, there will be a finale at the Market Place at approximately 8:30pm.
Despite the detailed planning and organisation for this production, we are unable to predict the weather! Please be reminded to wear appropriate clothing. Whatever the weather… the show must go on!
