This year’s Creativity Week saw Fallibroome produce some incredibly innovative, exciting and imaginative responses to the theme of ‘Flight’, providing opportunities for cross-curricular work and a range of activities from subjects, including; airport role-plays in MFL, ‘Around the World in 80 Days’ in Geography and English, animal flight in Science, flying students in Graphics, fantastic flying books in the Library and much, much more…

This year our very own Year 7 Drama club performed a devised version of ‘Icarus the Boy Who Could Fly’ at the presentation evening. This piece was brilliantly directed by sixth form student Samantha Wells, and was very well received by a supportive audience, made up of parents, friends, staff and students. The presentation evening had a real sense of occasion and we received plenty of positive feedback regarding the high standard of work we have come to expect from our students.

“We were thrilled to go to Manchester Airport during Creativity Week. The children enjoyed the whole day but the highlight for us was sitting in the cockpit pretending to be a pilot. The trip, which was in part funded by Fallibroome, enhanced our understanding of the flight theme and added to a fantastic week full of roleplay and art.”
